Do you struggle to find the time for all the vital tasks which keep your business financially healthy? Outsourcing this work can free you up to develop the profitable parts of your business. I can tailor Thrift's services towards the individual needs of your enterprise.  Do you need help with invoicing, reconciling your bank statements with the ledgers, producing VAT  returns, or controlling the sales and purchases ledgers? Are you worried about what Making Tax Digital means for your business?

Have you got into a bit of a mess with your bookkeeping and now need some help to bring everything back on track? I can help you unravel your tangled transactions and restore order.

I can also post year-end  adjustments and produce the final accounts for sole traders,  partnerships and not-for-profit organisations in both manual and  computerised systems.

Call now to see how I can help.

I am a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB) and offer a professional bookkeeping service for small businesses, partnerships and charities.

I trained using Sage,  am a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor and a Certified Advisor for Xero. I also hold a Xero Migration certification in preparation for HMRC's new Making Tax Digital scheme.

In addition to my bookkeeping qualifications, I have studied Business Management, and in 2001  graduated from  Strathclyde Graduate Business School as  a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

My career has been quite varied, and I had some adventures in business, the charity sector and local government on my journey from Zookeeper to Bookkeeper. I love finding out about what makes a business tick, and helping people grow their enterprises using sound financial records to inform their decision making.
